300E exhaust configuration (rear cat)

Hello

To cut to the chase my question is for a 300E is the rear cat a 2 in 2 out or a 1 in two out?

I see on the magnaflow site it is listed as: a 2 in 2 out 338008 for California, a 1 in 2 out 93507 or 94007 for Federal.

My 1987 300E was first sold in New Jersey but has been in California for about 25 years. It has a one in two out cat.

According to magnaflow they do not make a 1 in 2 out for my car which is now in California. They only make the 2 in 2 out for California.

However on Walker's website they list a 1 in 2 out 81133 for California and NY

I am confused

What is the correct cat for my car and is it available in CA?

If it was sold in New Jersey, it would have been a Federal emissions car originally. Was it ever converted to California spec?
