2002 W208 CLK430 intermittent climate control
 
(did a search, but couldn't find the answer...)

I swapped climate control units and yet the problem persists... a/c blower cuts out suddenly then comes on suddenly- no rhyme or reason.

What gives?

Pretty much see if signal from the climate unit is dropping, supply to blower regulator is dropping , blower regulator is failing or blower motor is failing.

I'd find the blower regulator and hang a meter on the signal wire.
