Yes, and often overlooked in the diagnosis process. Many start with the pressure regulator, but AFAIK it doesn't have any internal elastomeric parts that can fail from age or cycles. The accumulator does, and my failure analysis clearly showed the cracks in the diaphragm that caused it to not hold pressure.

If not, there’s still a chance that you burned your rotor. I think it’s worth opening up and cleaning/ inspecting to see if that makes any meaningful difference. Did you try warming the car up until it stalls and Try and restart while spraying gas in the intake?
