On my '92 300SE the instrument warning lights will all come on at once and flash once or twice usually by using the directional signal. With the engine running and the car stationary I can make it do this by turning the hazard switch on/off. Just had all the plugins on the cluster reseated while the evaporator was changed...no help. Anyone seen this....is the cluster circuit board defective?
This S(ad) class car should've been recalled!! The door closing assist pump is now out to be rebuilt...what's next?
Thanx for any ideas.

Sounds like the "MOTHER" board in the instrument cluster has a electronic glitch.
Several years ago M.B. offered rebuilt exchange boards, but now only offers complete instrument clusters!

You will need a new cluster as Doc said. You can order one with the correct milage on it though through your dealer.

Guys...thanx for your suggestions. I have found a rebuild facility that just did my door closing assist pump and they have experience with the faulty 140 (Sad class) instrument clusters. It will be forwarded to them.
