Fitting 90 MY antenna to 1989 MY 560SEL

Hi all,

I've got a 1989 560SEL with shorting antenna unit. Found a unit that looked comparable, but it is the last edition, and has a three plugs on the power connector instead of four, and a smaller jack. Came with the fitting connector, so I think I can wire it to work with the current car, but might need some help. Has anyone done this? The colors of the three-prong connector have a red/white wire (I suspect that'd the power), an all blue wire, and a black wire.

Any ideas?

That is of great help. Thanks!

Now I've got to figure out the color coding of the original connector, so I know how to splice this in correctly.

Thanks again!
