1984 380sl TPS

Hi All!

My girlfriend and I are restoring her 1984 380sl, and a major problem with it has been it randomly stalling. It would go for 40 miles with no problem, then a few hours later, it didn't make it around the block! After many hours of trouble shooting the various systems and replacing parts, I think that I finally found the problem in the TPS. When I had my DVOM hooked up to it and she worked the gas pedal, sometimes it would not show continuity and then all of a sudden it would work again! The car has 315K+ on it now.
I have the four mounting nuts for the plenum off and the fuel lines and linkage are disconnected, but the front end of the plenum won't lift up, but the back end will tilt up about .25" or so. Is there something else I need to unbolt that I am not seeing?
There are no videos on YT that I can find on this repair job and her manuals don't tell me a darned thing either. I don't want this car breaking down on us on our honeymoon.

Randy
