92 300TE Water Pump... updated or not?
 

Hey guys, haven't been around much because the old wagon has been just running great, including the new trans! Mileage eventually caught up with me today. After the howling noise got worse, I decided to down her for a few days and fix some issues... issues indeed.


Fan bearing, ilder pulley bearing on the fan bracket, water pump bearings and alternator bearings are all totally shot. I think it was the alternator making all the noise, but I'm replacing everything else while I'm there because they are all making some degree of bearing noise and/or have play in them.


Big question is that I'm not sure if I have the old style or updated water pump that requires a "drain pipe". About to order all this crap and would like to get it all in one whack, instead of having to wait two weeks to get everything I need.
