W126 91 420 SEL fuel pump relay melted socket

Drove it to the store, came back home, shut it off and the fuel pump kept making that whining noise like it was running, so I popped the hood and looked at the relay and it was smoking/already melting, i managed to pull it out and it was hot enough to melt the solder off the contacts so the socket it plugs into is trash.

What's the easiest way to fix this?
Is it possible to jumper it so I can get to and from work until I can get it properly fixed? If so what pins would would get jumped to where?

How do I remove the socket for the fuel pump relay thats in between the firewall, and where does the wire go to? do I have to take apart the dash to get to it?
