Euro Headlight Washers
I have a set of Bosch Euro Headlights and Wipers to install on my 560SEL, but what is the best way to hook up the Headlight Washers? The Euro trim plates below the headlamp only have one hole for the wiper shaft and although I could drill another for the washer tubing, the Euro wiper arms don't appear to have any provision for a washer nozzle like the US arms do. Any suggestions?

If you want water then you will probably have to get a different water reservoir.
The way my 190 was set up is it had individual pumps on the bottom of the water reservoir. The trim pane l had a hole for the shaft and a pass through for the water tube. The tube hooked up to the wiper blade. The wipers only worked when the lights were on so you will probably need a replay as well. |
I already have the US Headlamp Washer system, so reservoir and hoses etc. are already in place. My question is how to install washers for the Euro Wiper Arms that do not have provision for a washer.
One thought was to install a windshield washer head on the headlight trim plate aimed at the headlamp. |
Bump.
Any ideas welcomed. |
