4matic W211 E500 Wagon LCA
Hello,
A couple weeks ago I purchased a higher mileage 2004 E500 wagon. I have a shake from 55-70mph and I can move my left front LCA bushing about 12mm with a pry bar. The rear bushing is firm. I don't seem to find much around 4matic front lower control arms when searching the internet. I do find a lot on the non 4matic with the two separate control arms. There does not appear to be any aftermarket for the 4matic LCA. Is the only option $800 for lower control arms from Mercedes, or fight with bushing replacement and ball joints? I was hoping for a Lemforder option. I'm going to have about $1700 in parts for the front suspension rebuild by the time I'm done. UCA, LCA, tierod ends, sway bar end links. I couldn't imagine having to pay a shop to have these installed.
