Cruise Control Actuator - 190E

What is the easiest way to access the Cruise Control Actuator on my 190E 2.3 (1988)? Is it easier to access from under the car or from above? What should I remove to get at it? I guess that atleast the Air Filter housing should be removed, but would removing anything else make it easier to reach the Acutator?
