Injector Pump Seals Replaced - Now Rough Idle - 1991 350SDL?
 

Shop replaced the leaking seals on the top of the injector pump that go to the individual injector lines. Now I have a rough idle, did not idle rough prior to seals replacement. Car runs fine otherwise. Another shop tells me that first shop could have damaged some pins in the pump when replacing the seals that are causing this problem. Cure = $2,100.00 to replace the pump.

I'm not a happy camper. I am running STP Diesel Injector Cleaner thru the fuel tank now in case this is a coincidental situation (75 miles no change so far).

Would appreciate any feedback on this situation.
