W201/124 differences between manual/auto driveshaft and trans flanges?

I have a 92 190E originally automatic, now converted to manual. The transmission is a 717.412. I bought the transmission from a guy in Germany, I think it was from a late 1.8 model as it seems like the 1.8's kept the single mass flywheel while the other variants got the dual mass (maybe that doesn't matter...). Anyways, now I need to install the driveshaft. Since I couldn't find the OEM manual front driveshaft half, I thought about having the stock driveshaft lengthened. I bought 2 flex discs listed for a manual 190e: 202-410-10-15 and 202-410-12-15. Neither fits on the auto driveshaft (flexdiscs seem too small). I will jack the car up this weeked to check if the discs fit on the transmission. I'm thinking that the flanges could be different between the manual and automatic driveshafts (and transmissions). Unfortunately I didn't compare both flanges when I had the auto trans out of the car next to the manual ready to go in... Can anybody shine a light on this? Which flex disc do I need (if can modify the automatic driveshaft)?

do a search on 190rev.net there's lots of conversion information there.
