Source for Automatic Transmission Parts
Sun Valley Mercedes Transmissions is the best automatic transmission builder by far. Yesterday I had a conversation with Marc, the owner, who said Sun Valley does not sell parts; however, Marc gave me the contact info for a company in the Los Angeles area that does sell Mercedes (probably other makes also) transmission parts. Marc also noted that EVT prefers the casting number from a part as opposed to the Mercedes part number. Probably best to have both when communicating with EVT.
