Wooden Nardi Steering / Compatible between models ?

CAN ANYONE HELP ME DETERMINE IF A NARDI WOODEN STEERING WHEEL THAT WAS INSTALLED IN A 1972 3.5 280 SE, WOULD FIT IN THE COLUMN OF A 300 CD 1984 ?

Yes but
 

Requires an adaptor hub available from a number of sources. Start with ebay. Depending on the model selected, you may lose a little instrument visibility at the top of your panel because of the smaller diameter.

I have done it on my 300CD. Looks and feels great.
