W126 shop manual
With Flash Player soon to be gone, is there a shop manual for the W126 that does not use Flash Player?

A bit quaint, but yes; it's called "Paper".

Or you can do as I did. Save all the PDF's to a file and make an index of what each PDF covers. I print out any individual PDF I need. This cuts down quite a bit of paper clutter as often I am only looking for specifications or a single page of illustrations/technique.
I keep the printouts in a binder as I produce them. I suppose in twenty or thirty years I'll have them all printed and saved. Example: Attachment 155892 |
the Gettysburg library allows their customers free access to something that appears
to be Alldata or Alldata Pro. If you have a library card, you may be able to harvest data and download onto your USB drive. I did similar in Seattle and came away with over 10k pages for my w210. but if you want a standalone 'manual' dedicated for your model, the DVD/CD version from Ebay which you can have at your fingertips may be just the ticket |
Thanks--especially the library idea.
I should have mentioned that I already have 2 different CD Shop Manuals. My question ( poorly stated) was with the coming end to Flash Player, will those CDs still work? Will Flash Player stop working as of December 2020, or will they just stop updating it? |
