95 C280: ABS Question

I have a question about my 1995 C280's ABS system.

I don't believe that is has 4 (individual) wheel ABS. I came to the conclusion that there is a sensor in each front wheel, and one sensor in the rear differential (axle?) that operates the rear wheels as one.

Thus 3 ABS sensors:
1 in each front wheel = 2
1 in rear drive shaft = 1

Am I correct in my assumption? Is the Mercedes ABS system still like this today? Or does it use 4 wheel ABS on current models?
And I'm assuming this configuration (3 ABS sensors) because the front brakes are more important and vital when braking hard, in addition to steering capability.

Thanks!

MB didn't have any 4 wheel ABS systems until 4-matic cars came to the US in 1990. NOW almost all of the traction systems need a 4-wheel system to operate.
The 1995 C280 didn't have 4 sensors unless the car was equipted with ASR.
With 3 sensors the ABS system is more stable for the average driver. However a 4 wheel system is better for a "real" driver!!
