MB Quailty - little things

I have just begun my MB adventure, a 95 W124 with 104kmi. I'm up to 107kmi in a month - a delight to drive. But when I went to put my new plates on the car, I found that the lead anchors mounted in the trunk which receive the license bolts turn freely and I can't seat the bolts. And now its another little thing to fix.

So far - turn signal combination relay, both aux fans, now the lead anchors - the kind of things that I'm not used to worring about in my Jap cars. (Car has good records and past care) Is this my destiny?

Still smiling
95 W124 107kmi, and going for 250k!
