Engine Won't Turn Over

Would love to hear some input.

Youtube link to trying to start it:
https://youtu.be/TAuQVjWioQY

Some notes:
Glow plugs seem good.
Battery is at 12.55 (can't get it up past that without starting the car.)
I don't see any fuel leaks around injectors.

Disclosure:
I am trying to sell this car. It is listed here on this website. I don't want to scrap it. The chance someone will take it is greater if it is starting. There are a myriad of other problems, brakes, etc. But I can identify and resolve those.

Thanks for the reply.

Does that mean that the glow plugs aren't getting enough electric power to get the fuel up to proper temperature? It was +70f degrees outside when I tried to start it in this video.

From what I understand, and I could be wrong, if the battery is putting out 12.5v or more then that should be enough to get started. I checked the battery, it is at 12.55 before turning the key.

Engine Won't Turn Over

the engine needs to spin faster if the glow plugs are not working properly or the compression is too low. also crack the injector lines to make sure fuel is getting to them.

how long since last start?

running good / starting easy at that point?

i never had to resort to starting assist like pam or wd40 or starting fluid
so i don't know if that would help

No, it means your battery is junk. Voltage is only part of the equation, cranking amperage is the more important factor when starting the engine.

A fully-charged battery will be >12.6V. Fresh off the charger, it should be closer to 12.8V. Your engine is turning over too slowly to reliably start due to low amperage capacity of your battery. Get a new battery. Don't believe it? Take it to an auto parts store and have the battery tested. It'll fail.
