560sec, can I replace OEM fuel pumps with electirc aftermarket?
My 87, 560SEC has given up her fuel pump assembly to the rust gods. The cost to replace them is $$$$$$$ x many more. I have found several electric aftermarket pumps but am not sure of the results, nor the specifications to look for (flow rate, pressure setting). Also, what happens if I remove the accumulator? Do I install a check valve?
Please hurry, I miss my baby. Tks, Mike McComb 87 560SEC (Baby) 77 450SL (Wife's baby) |

I always use mercedes pumps and hardware in that department because I have seen fuel pumps from discount houses die in a year.

The OEM Bosch fuel pumps are quite inexpensive (at least in the U.S.). Why use anything else?
