W211 Head Light Covers

I searched for some replacement clear plastic headlight covers for a 06 E350AWD to replace the scratched ones I have. I know there are products/methods to help restore the clear covers but in my experience, the scratches are usually in the plastic and any repairs are just temporary at best. Looking at the lights it appears the clear covers would be a simple R&R. Perhaps the clear parts are made as part of the headlight assy? Comments?

Simple R&R? It is very time consuming. Need to remove the bumper first, it is PITA job in itself. You need to prise out the len, make good the rim and glue the new one in. The end results is good though.

W211 Head Light Covers

Thanks for the info! Luckily, the one thing I have plenty of (I hope) is time, and I enjoy wrenching. So I may give it a shot. I guess the lens are out there, I just have to keep searching. I plan to pull it into the garage shortly to service the transmission - I can do the lens when the front of the car if up in the air.
