Caliper Rebuild Kits

4 Attachment(s)
Hi,

Just wondering if someone knows of a supplier of brake caliper rebuild kits (including pistons) for a 1983 W123 230E?

Are the calipers manufactured by ATE or Bendix?

I've attached a few photos but I'm not sure who the manufacturer is.

Kits seem to be impossible to find in Australia.

Cheers

These are ATE calipers. You'll find the ATE sign in the cast.

I'd remove the pistons and see how the pistons and bore are looking.
If they are fine I'd order the rubber parts and rebuild them.

Thanks for that, really appreciate it.

Pistons need replacing.

Anyone know relevant overhaul kit part numbers?

I have used centric rebuild kits on all 3 of my vehicles. On 84 300D with ATE calipers all the way around and 2 Chevy's.
On the 300D the rear kit does not come with Heat Shields.

When I have the centric part number I usually shop on ebay or amazon. However, Rock Auto Parts may also sell kits but maybe not centric kits.

They may or may not list the pistons. I never looked for them.

Go to the online catalog.

The newer parts catalog is harder to navigate through so I made some pics.

Those are Ate. Shows it right on the front. Not sure where you would source the rebuild kits from in Au.
