So I was putting in a K and N air filter in my ‘91 SEC and this is what I find over the intake! It must have been installed by the previous owners tech. I have taken it out, and the car runs a whole lot better! It just seems stupid to restrict air flow! Looked at some old reviews and this thing was useless, never showed any fuel savings, and yet the company is still in business and sells them at $79!

We had a branch manager install those in our van fleet. Did absolutely nothing. I removed them all. This was on LS engine equipped vans. Was almost a blockage.
