Smoking hot deal on the Autel AP200M scan tool - $30 at Amazon!
Just want to let everyone know that there is currently a promotion on the Autel AP200M. There is a 10% off coupon on the product page, and a 40% off promotion - which is automatically applied within the cart when you begin to checkout. Total price before taxes works out to $29.97. I don’t know how long this promotion will be going on, so you may want to grab one quickly. (And no, I am not a shill trying to sell Autel’s products!)
This unit is particularly awesome for MBZ's, as the software has phenomenally deep scanning capabilities and can access modules that aren't even available to scanners costing 5x as much money. It can also be used on older MBZ models that have the proprietary 38-pin diagnostic port - but you must use Autel's 38-pin adapter which is sold separately and is available from many sellers on Ebay. (But shipped from China unfortunately.) Word of advice: DO NOT try to use a generic 38-pin to OBD2 adapter cable, as they won't work - you will need the Autel cable. This unit comes with 1-year of Mercedes Software Service, but each additional year costs $20 to subscribe - but the EOBD functions never expire. And YES, there are plenty of much cheaper OBDII bluetooth scanners available, but NONE of them have the deep-diving capabilities that this has for our cars. It's not a Star Das /Xentry system, but it does everything a DIY'er would want, unless you need to program & code modules. LINK TO ITEM: Note that there are several vendors, but this is the only one with the promotion: Autel AP200M on sale at Amazon

Sweet just grabbed one each for the kids (who now live a few hours from dad) so when the light comes on they can figure out what’s wrong.

Glad I could help! I don't know where else to post this to help spread the word, since there is not a tools forum or anything like that.
