1994 Mercedes E320 wagon braking issues
When pressing the brake pedal, it goes all the way down to the floor without any traction, the car is still moving. When I looked under the hood, the brake fluid reservoir is full of brake fluid. I had never replaced the brake master cylinder before and I am not sure what would be the appropriate steps to go forward in resolving this issue. I did some research on this issue and maybe I need to do some more. From what I gathered so far, it seems the brake master cylinder needs to be replace, flush and drain the old brake fluid. Put in new brake fluid, and bleeding the brakes. What about brake power booster, does that need to be replace as well? No sign of any leaking brake fluid anywhere. Any ideas and/or comments is greatly appreciated. I will follow through on this thread and doing more research on this issue and will post my findings and/or successful solution to this issue. Thanks to all for reading this post.
