Hello everyone, I'm new to the W114 community. I bought a 1970 250 sedan 2.5 dual zenith carb car for my wife this Christmas. I bought it from a person that ripped the A/C compressor out of the car. I can find the A/C compressor and A/C condenser on Ebay Motors, but I am finding it difficult to find the clutch/pulley. Any suggestions on this setup? I have a feeling that I have to overhaul the entire HVAC system, but I need a place to start and a good supplier to go through. Thanks for the input.

The standard issue for your car was a York, which is a good compressor but a real power hog. I would check out Nostalgia Air Parts and consider a Sanden style compressor, which comes with clutch and pulley inclusive. An adapter plate can also be purchased there as well as fittings, etc. I replaced my Yorkie over 10 years ago and have had no problems at all with the Sanden even though it's made in China.
