Need some help here, the gauge cluster lights as well as the ventilation illumination on my 83 TDT just stopped working when I started my car last night. The fuse is good, so I was wondering if there is a master relay for the gauge lights somewhere. Is it possible that all the lights may have burned out at the same time? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you problem is the potentiometer switch replace it. is behind the cluster use
a hook to pull cluster out remove the switch
only one screw Part# 0005423625.

Thanks, Does the potentionometer also control the dimming of the A/C control lights? Any idea how expensive this part is?

Yes the potentiometer does control the lights dimming in the center console and in the dash. It is connected directly behind the knob that you use to dim the cluster lights.

I just replaced the Pot to no avail. Is there anything else it could be? Is there any kind of relay that is responsible for those lights? Have you ever seen multiple lights burn out at the same time. It just seems weird that they would work one day and not the next.
