I would like to know how to take off the wooden plate arround the gear knob as I want to readjust the window buttons and change the gear knob too... I nearly broke the plate while tying to pull it off with a screw driver at its rear :(

Take out the ash tray and the coin pocket and then slide the wood forward. Before you do this take off the small black ring around the selector light (P,R,N,D,2,1) then it will come off easily.

First of all thx for your quick reply. I'll do this later. I don't have the coin pocket as I have the "Siberian" heater commands there ;) I don't think that would make a difference...
