M121 of W110

I am new here, I just got myself a W110 190 with a M 121 petrol 4 cylinder.
need to start the engine.

Is there anyone here who has done some work on a M 121
What are the do's & dont's
I wouldnt mind upgrading a bit
Which are the sites to source the engine parts

Please do help, Thank You.
