Quick question.....
 

This question is mainly for the techs, but if you know please answer.

My father has a 99 W140, and I have a 93. I've noticed many differences in the cars. Minor things usually, that have just been more refined. But one thing puzzles me. In US spec cars, why did MB stop marketing the power interior rear view mirror? It is the coolest little gadget in the car, (although mines is loose, and rattles over bumps), and i dont see any logical why it was removed in 94 with the new design.......unless Merecdes knew back then that they would be introducing the Rainsenser.

one of the biggest problem was that people that did not know it was electric & would move in manuely, thus breaking them. MB was paying like crazy to replace them. no more electric.
