used car purchase; does key fob increase risk of theft?
I just purchased a used car with a proprietary key system. I've been reading and apparently the car is supposed to have a key fob in addition to the standard ignition key (opens the doors, trunk and starts the car). I'm thinking of not adding the key fob because of the increased risk of someone cloning the key fob then driving off with my car.
