Not unless you rewire the car for the fiber optics.

you should try tuning houses like Brabus or CEC

ror 07-16-2002 09:22 PM

what did u mean about that

Ethan 07-16-2002 09:44 PM

www.brabus.com and www.cecwheels.com have tuning and modification shops in a few countries. Brabus does everything, interiors, engines. CEC, I am quite sure does the same

The cost of rewiring is crazy for this project! You'll need to rewire AND replace the Cassette Head Unit. Don't even begin to ask what that will cost. This project will cost thousands.

Why bother? Just buy the up to model year 1998 CD changer, available from your dealer. Or spend even less, and buy an Alpine CD changer and wiring adapter. The latter of these options is just a few hindred dollars, easily paid for by selling the optic CD changer.

thank u all for these information
but the problem my car is classic without cd button on my cassette player
and the other problem i bought the new cassette with its cd player and the fiber optic cable

You already made one mistake by buying this stuff, don't make another one by trying to install it!
