Wiring Diagram Needed

I am panicking because I did a very stupid thing. I was removing the cluster on my 1989 300SE (which I have done before), but this time I removed the housing around the water temperature gauge and all of the individual wires came out of the housing. Before I realized what I did they were mis-aligned. Is there a wiring diagram available for me to put the wires back in the correct order? I see the housing holes are numbered, but not the wires - at least not that I can see. Please help me because I am losing my mind over this. I am changing the AC expansion valve and all is going well. I even changed the cylinder head about a year and a half ago, so I am pretty handy. This is just a very stupid move!! I am embarrassed to say the least. :o

Trying to clarify and I know I don't have it; but, is the wiring diagram needed for the internals of the instrument cluster?

Don't be too hard on yourself, I've done way worse and have been wrenching for north of five decades. One of the incidents was only two years ago:cool:

I searched all over and found the diagram. Thank goodness all of the wires were still in circular shape and the colors in the diagram matched up to the order of my wires. I was very lucky to get them back in the housing and clamped shut. Crisis averted, but I was beating myself up for the past 5 hours. Now, back to the expansion valve tomorrow. Thank you for the words of support! It's really nice to hear in moments like this. :)
