Silly (memory) question
"Replace engine fan seal"
This summer I'm replacing the radiator on my 1986 560SL. In my notes, I have an item to complete which is "Replace the engine fan seal". Do you have any idea what I was thinking when I wrote that down? What is a Fan Seal? |
Rubber flaps/air dams around the radiator or AC condenser?

I'm wondering if it is the fan shroud? You should be able to look at it and tell if it is damaged or not.
