280E Vacuum Question

Howdy,

Car just got back from the shop for a few small things. He said the right rear door had the vacuum leak, so I'm guessing the actuator/diaphragm there. He said he disconnected it from the system so it would just work like a manual lock and the leak would not affect the rest of the system until the part came in and could be repaired. However, the car still isn't holding vacuum more than a few minutes.

I guess my basic question is does this point to any other problems/solutions? And, I hear on most MBs that the gas flap and trunk use vacuum, but my gas flap can always be opened and closed by hand. Should there be vacuum lines there and could that be affecting the overall vacuum system? Thanks in advance for any help
