1994 w124 m119 Fuse keeps blowing, wont start

I have a fuse that keeps keeps blowing, its a #8. I apologize in advance, i am handy and if i read enough or watch enough videos i can fix pretty much anything. I was wondering if anyone here can help me identify this fuse, what it does? I am guessing it is tide to the battery or starter. The moment i put a new fuse, it sparks and blows. It ate thru the battery. I got a new battery and dont want to connect it until this is fixed. Any help with the name of the fuse or how to fix it would help. This is a 1994 e420, has a V8 (m119). The battery is in the trunk. Below in red is where the fuse is at
