Rennline phone mount in 2015 W212/E400

Has anybody installed a Rennline cell phone mount in their W212? Looks super simple on the Rennline YouTube channel. Where I'm getting hung up is removing the trim piece that houses the clock, and right and center a/c vents. After releasing the 4 clips that allow the trim to release, I can't seem to get the left side of the trim piece to release, as well as the right side a/c vent. I don't want to force it and end up breaking it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks...
