Trans fluid under the car!
I found about 1/2 quart of trans fluid under the C230 the other day. My tech checked it out and found that the 'park lock out cable' was leaking (about $200 repair) and that he had seen several of these on w202 cars. Just a heads up for any 202 owners.

Thanks, John! The trans seems to have slipped about 3 times since March, and my Indie Tech says there are 3 codes in there, but MB says they 'could have occured if the engine was running in gear while on a lift!" Oh well, at least the engine will have a 10 year warranty of some kind - but it runs great and has used syn oil since new. The trans 'may' have goodwill coverage if it falls apart. The car runs great, but I think the 215/16 Yoko dBs cut into the mileage a bit on out trip up the valley (or maybe it was the 75mph avg speed! All-in-all a nice car, especially after installing the Konis and the Diamond Audio 6.5" speakers!
Hope all is well with you and yours,
