what happened with my radiator?

8 years old with no bad coolant in system? why like this?

What have you been running in it - coolant/water mixture? Where did the water come from? Water quality issues caused that.

mixed 50/50 with TAPwater.. here in sweden tapwater is drinkable.

never seen something like that, here we ALWAYS uses tapwater to mix with and never probbs....



now i have a new RAD with the newer pink coolant

Looks like the drinkable tap water in Sweden is harder (more minerals) than your system can handle. I would mix the coolant with purified/distilled water to avoid calcification in the future. Save the tap water for mixing drinks .
