To whomever can help.
I have a 1967 Mercedes 230. I have driven it without major problem for about ten years. Recently the generator light has been coming on faintly and the voltage has been going to 15.9v. I checked the shop manual and it suggested placing the voltage regulator. I went to the dealership and they CANT FIND WHERE IT IS IN THE SYSTEM. It is not internal to the generator, They have searched the engine compartment. The best they can find is a cut out relay, which I replaced. Where is the voltage regulator supposed to be on this car? VIN # is 110.011-12-030002 Regards, Chris Campbell |

Sounds like you have already replaced the voltage relay. Its a silver box (3"x4") with one three wire plug. It should be mounted on the right side of the engine compartment.
