help with reflection on windscreen S-500

Dear friends,

I have just got delivery of a semi-new S- 500.

The problem is that on sunny days there is an reflection on the windscreen of the dashboard that is very distracting and make driving very tiresome.
I did not have this problem with my old Mercedes.

I have return the car to the garage for inspection but has anyone had this kind of problem before?

Any tips on how to sort it out?

I have already thoroughly cleaned the windscreen..

Thanks for your help

This has happened to me as a result of putting Armor All on the dash. It leaves a shiny reflective coating on the dash which reflects on the windshield under sunny conditions. You might try washing or buffing out the finish of the dash with a clean dry cloth if it has been treated lately.

Put some MB leather care and it will return to a matte finish. Many leather products assume we want everything shiny. It sells for $9 at dealer. Apply some on your seats as well

I think royaiii is pretty close on this one. I was noticing today that the dash on the 560 was reflecting off the windshield. The lighting conditions were such that I could see the dash but since it was a transparent reflection it did not obscure the view. After a few minutes I forgot all about it. Dash was last polished over a month ago and the reflection was of the dull shine that remains.
