Are there Lights by the gear shift on the center console of a 87 420 SEL? Its been so long I don't remember. If Lights should be there, please give me some info onhow to replace the bulb.
Thanks in advance for the usual accurate and prompt advice. This site really helps.

Yes! there is a light for shifter selector.
here is how to replace the bulb.
remove ashtary first (two screws) then move the coin tray & wood panel disconnect all switchs,PULL light socket out of housing at front of housing replace blub.
hope this help.
