tailgate trim!
 

yikes, can anyone tell me how to remove the piece of plastic trim that runs along the lower edge of the tailgate on my 95 E320 wagon?? This is the piece that has the lift handle in the center.
I get the feeling it may be a two-piece, as I can see screw ends evident inside the tailgate when I take the inside panel off. I just can't seem to figure out how to get at the screw heads.

There is rust evident around the screw mounting holes on the tailgate that I want to fix before wintertime.
