85 500sel wont run
 

ok here we go good compression,good spark,new fuel pump regulator. when i go to start it i cant here the fuel pump run and when i turn it over if i pump the pedal it wants to start.

if i jump the fuel pump regulator it runs i am stumped

is there a sensor or somthing else that would cause this problem?
