Question Lowering the rear of W124.. easiest way

Load the trunk with rocks? But if I didn't want to do that, what would be the next best way? I don't want to improve the ride or handling and I'm happy with the front height. I never haul heavy loads and the car just looks goofy with the rear stuck up there.

swap the spring pads. My guess is you have number 3 under there. Swap it for number 1.

Can you get these pads at the dealer? Do you happen to know how much they are?

They cost about 5 bucks and they can be got at the dealer or fastlane.


201 325 09 44 number 1, 8mm rear
201 325 10 44 number 2, 13mm rear
201 325 11 44 number 3, 18mm rear
