Can anyone tell me the location for the fuel filter for a 96 e320.

The filter is under the car. It's mounted next to the fuel pump under a plastic cover.

The fuel pump and filter is located on the passenger side of the vehicle just in front of the rear wheel. You'll need a 10mm socket to remove the plastic cover to gain access to the filter.
