Freddy Krueger Revisted my Mercedes Sunday Morning!

Some time between Saturday night and early Sunday morning Freddy Krueger decided that my (nearly) mint 1989 300SE interior needed an "update". Thankfully only the front seats were sliced up (bottom and back cushion)!

Does anybody know what type of leather this is (i.e., Connelly leather)? Where should I get this fixed? I'm REALLY concerned about it not matching the door panels, head rests, center console and back seats AND I'm concerned about the quality of the re-upholstery job.

Please Help!!!

The MB dealer near my house in So. Cal. referred me to a company that makes replacement leather for Mercedes, and they say they leather is a perfect match and fits like original leathers.

They have a website:

Maybe ask Phil if he can help.

There's also www.worlduph.com and Performance Products.

Thanks...

for the help! I might even post some pictures in anyone is interested. The more I drive my beauty, the sicker and more upset I become!!! I just don't see this reuphostery job turning out as good as a factory job.

bone yard

Might be worth while looking for a match at the junk yard or buying a car, blown motor etc. that would have the guts you are looking for.

Drives me crazy when people commit these random senseless acts, it's always people who take no pride in their stuff who ruin other people's stuff.

A buddy had two radios stolen out of his car. Smashed window twice. Installed a third new radio and taped razor blades to the back side of the new radio. Went to his car one day, window was smashed again, but radio was still there along with bits of theif's fingers.

I have a guy right now looking for two front seats. I've also spoken with someone to recover! The insurance company is coming out to look at the "damage" tomorrow afternoon...I thought I was over with all of these insurance claims.
