Installing an Alpine (CHM-S601)
I was told by Mercedes that a CHM-S601 is not compatable with my 98 C230 and would need to purchase theirs. Is this true? After all I can do when I plug it in is insert & eject cds. But my stereo which is a factory original made by Alpine doesn't even know it's there.
