Can anyone explain why my 1998 E430 which was
order 2/98 delivered 7/98 has the front brake pad part# 002 420 50 20 instead of the listed part # 002 420 15 20 T. The 15's are smaller then the 50's, they aren't as wide. The 50's are a exact match physically, they looked the same as far as the pad material. Could it be because of the Sport Pkg.? Has anyone else had this problem? ------------------ Peter L. After much research, it was discovered that the Mercedes Benz USA parts catalog
has part # 002 420 15 20 listed in error. MBNA is now aware of this problem but has yet to correct it. Part # 002 420 50 20 is the correct pad for all US W210 except diesel. Hope this helps...Lee |
