which 190e models have headlight wipers?
 

Looking around at 190e 2.6 models. Ive seen some with headlight wipers, others without. Does anyone know anything
about which cars have them? Thanks.

Was an option on all of the W201 cars! The 1987 190E 2.3 16V came with H/L wipers standard. Some of the later cars had a "winter" package that also included H/L wipers!

I have a '93, and mine came with the windshield wipers on the headlamps. It's interesting though -- mine face in a different
direction than, say, the 300e's. They have the arches on the left hand side, whereas mine are on the right.

In Canada, the 190D 2.2, 190E 2.3 and 190D 2.5 did not come with headlamp washers, and was not available as an option.

The 190E 2.3-16V had them as standard equipment. The 16V came pretty much loaded on this side of the pond, as it was a VERY expensive car in it's day.

The 190E 2.6 offered the headlamp washers as an option.

The standard equipment lists for the various cars changed over the years, with the list shrinking in later years.

The '93 Limited Edition models, both 2.3 and 2.6, had the washers as standard; they were optional on regular 190Es.

1986 US Spec 2.3-16v's didn't have them or at least weren't standard. I know this because mine doesn't have them.
